Verizon Wireless Launches LG enV2 Tomorrow |
|
While the LG Voyager could be considered as the spiritual successor the original LG enV from Verizon Wireless, tomorrow's launch will mark the actual successor to the original. Starting tomorrow, you will have to the opportunity to waltz into your local Verizon kiosk and ask to get your hands on the LG enV2.
The form factor is very much like the first enV, meaning that yo get a regular candybar-like orientation when the phone is in its closed position. There is a standard numeric keypad and then a small display at the top for pertinent information. Flip the phone open like a book, however, and you'll reveal stereo speakers, a 2.4-inch color display, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Rounding out the specs are stereo Bluetooth, music player, and a 2 megapixel camera.
Look for the LG enV2 to bandy around town in either black or maroon. I haven't seen specific information about price, but it should be cheaper than the Voyager.
