iPhone 3G Plans Formally Announced by AT&T |

  Late last week, we caught wind of the iPhone 3G plans being offered to Canadians via Rogers Wireless. None of the plans came with something as basic as caller ID and none of the plans offered unlimited wireless data. At least those south of the 49th parallel can get in some decent iPhone 3G plans.
AT&T has announced the portfolio of plans that they will be offering to owners of the upcoming Apple iPhone 3G and they have also announced that you can buy the new phone without a contract. That's right, folks. A service agreement with AT&T is optional. A "no contract" iPhone 3G costs $599 and $699, depending if you want the 8GB or 16GB model.
There are four AT&T iPhone 3G plans. All of them come with unlimited data, nationwide long distance and data, Visual Voicemail, Rollover, unlimited mobile to mobile, call forwarding, call waiting, three-way calling, and caller ID.
AT&T Nation Unlimited ($129.99): unlimited anytime minutes
AT&T Nation 1350 ($109.99): 1350 anytime minutes, unlimited nights/weekends
AT&T Nation 900 ($89.99): 900 anytime minutes, unlimited nights/weekends
AT&T Nation 450 ($69.99): 450 anytime, 5000 nights/weekends
